Founded in 1996 by Pete Keithly as a commissioning-specific company with a focus on K-12 facilities, KBA was incorporated in 2005 when Kent Barber joined as Co-Owner and Principal. Over the past 20 years KBA has diversified, providing systems performance consulting for a broad range of clients across the U.S. and abroad, on projects from a few thousand to nearly one million square-feet in size.
Today KBA is owned by Kent Barber and fellow Principals/Senior Project Managers Jeremy Fugere and Ryan Hay, and has offices in Washington, Utah and Colorado, as well as an almost continuous staff presence in California.
