Central Washington University (CWU) is located on a 380-acre campus in Ellensburg, WA. Established in 1891, CWU serves approximately 10,000 students studying a variety of programs, including cyber security, performance arts and pre-medicine. 

KBA has commissioned 740,000+ square-foot of new construction and renovation work on the CWU campus. Of the 8 projects KBA has commissioned, the Samuelson Communications Tech Center and the New Residence Hall are currently undergoing LEED certification, and the Dean Hall renovation was awarded a LEED Gold certification. Examples of commissioned spaces include a student union/recreation building, classrooms, lecture halls, a museum, laboratories, offices, communal lounges and kitchens and a data center.
