Project Description: Phased project. Renovation of a 75,000 square-foot existing science building converted into classroom and lecture hall. Expected to receive a LEED "Silver" credit with Additional Commissioning.

Systems Commissioned: Systems and equipment included an Energy Management System, HVAC equipment and components, lighting controls, access controls, plumbing, electrical power, fire alarm, and emergency power system.

Commissioning Scope: KBA became involved at the schematic design phase. Phase I: Commissioning agent managed kick-off meetings and prepared meeting minutes, developed initial design phase commissioning plan, presented and reviewed OPR and BOD outlines, performed cx reviews of SD and DD submittals and prepared initial commissioning specifications. Phase II: Kick off meeting & coordination. Develop initial design phase commissioning plan. Provide OPR & BOD outlines. Review of SD & DD submittals. Initial commissioning specs. Finalize commissioning specifications for CD's. Review 90% CD's incliding OPR, BOD. Controls integration meeting. Conduct meetings and site observation with reports. Review submittals including BAS. Develop IVs & FPTs. Perform or witness IVs & FPTs. Review O & M. Review training plan. Final Cx Report. System Manual & training. Post-occupancy review.
