Project Description: Phased project consisting of 3 separate bus bases for the King County Metro Transit; Ryerson, Central and Bellevue.

Ryerson Base: includes a 53,442 square foot vehicle maintenance building. The building is being substantially gutted with entire HVAC and lighting replacement. LEED guidelines are being followed as much as possible.

Central Base: vehicle exhaust system upgrade and HVAC system replacement for 54,000 square foot maintenance building; plus approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of fuel and washes modules.

Bellevue Base: HVAC replacement on 29,937 square foot vehicle maintenance and operations building; plus 2,000 sq. ft. for fuel and wash modules. The building is being substantially gutted with entire HVAC and lighting replacement. LEED guidelines are being followed as much as possible.

Project Scope:

Ryerson Base: Commissioning heating water and high efficiency boiler systems, air cooled chiller, normal power distribution, measurement & ventilation, radiant heat, DDC controls, central VAV air handling system, 4-pipe can coil units, heating & ventilating units, packaged DX AHUs, fire alarm interface with HVAC, lighting controls, daylighting controls, and vehicle exhaust.

Central Base: Commissioning heating water and high efficiency boiler systems, air cooler chiller, normal power distribution, emergency power generation and transfer (ATS), domestic hot water generation, measurement & ventilation, radiant heat, central VAV air handling system, 4-pipe can coil units, heating & ventilating units, packaged DX AHUs, fire alarm interface with HVAC, domestic hot water pumping, lighting controls, daylighting controls, and DDC controls.

Bellevue Base: Commissioning heating water and high efficiency boiler systems, normal power distribution, emergency power generation and transfer (ATS), measurement & ventilation, radiant heat, DDC controls, central VAV air handling system, heating & ventilating units, packaged DX AHUs, air source heat pumps, fire alarm interface with HVAC, lighting controls, and vehicle exhaust.
