Project Description: New five story technical office building. The commissioning process was designed to be compliant with LEED Enhanced Level Commissioning requirements.

Systems Commissioned: included the following: electrical: power distribution, lighting controls, fire alarm system, UPS, emergency generator; HVAC: chiller, cooling tower & filter, heating system boiler, controls, hydronic system pumps, rooftop air handlers, fan coil units, VAV boxes, exhaust fans, air & water balancing, fire dampers; plumbing fixtures and domestic hot water equipment

KBA Scope: Pete Keithly from KBA designed the commissioning plan and acted as the primary commissioning project manager during the construction process and up through completion of the majority of functional testing. KBA was responsible for conducting the majority of the commissioning meetings, maintaining the commissioning meeting minutes, tracking all construction phase commissioning issues and working with the contractors to garner all required start up documentation. KBA also compiled the commissioning documentation and assembled the draft version of the final commissioning report.
