Since joining KBA in early 2014, Patrick has established himself as a topnotch commissioning professional, performing all traditional aspects of commissioning for many project types, and becoming the primary commissioning contact for a major international healthcare provider.
Patrick started his career serving six years as a nuclear trained electrician for the U.S. Navy, in charge of scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance on items in order to ensure maximum power plant reliability and minimal impact on ship deployment schedules. After the Navy, he spent 2 years with Siemen's Building Technologies, becoming a lead controls technician and project manager on fast-track projects where he obtained extensive building automation system (BAS) programming, design and commissioning experience.
As a commissioning professional, Patrick has led the commissioning effort for an impressively diverse set of projects ranging from a LEED Platinum certified building to an NIH research vivarium. Patrick has also worked with a large owner's O&M staff to develop and implement an ongoing LEED V4 Monitoring Based Commissioning Plan.
