The Evergreen State College (TESC) is a progressive liberal arts college located in Olympia, WA. It has been a leader in environmental education from it's founding, and has demonstrated a commitment to sustainability in the building and operation of its campus.

KBA has commissioned 13 projects for TESC, under contract to the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services. Many of these have been LEED projects, including one of the earliest LEED Gold projects in Washington State. The building types include several labs of various types, the library and library media center, the communications center, college activity center and student activity center. Project types include new buildings and renovations, ranging in size from 7,000 to 150,000 square-foot. Commissioning involvement typically runs from early design through post occupancy, including a LEED Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning scope, even on non-LEED certified projects.
